asfurangel

Description: Compatibility: Community Safe
Maximum Size: 7-9 inches
Minimum Tank Size: 75 gallons
Temperature: 78-82F
Diet: Flakes, Frozen and Live Food
Level of care: Medium/Hard
General Notes: The Asfur angel comes from the Red Sea, and is sometimes refered to as an Arabian angel. The Asfur is a hearty fish and is a good feeder. It may have compatibility with same species or similar sized angels from other species. In captivity, the Asfur can be very aggressive towards its own species. One way to keep more than one Asfur in your aquarium is to introduce Asfurs that are dramatically different in size. This way the Asfurs with not threaten each other when feeding or securing their own hiding places.

Pros: Awesome colors
Cons: Not reef safe

This angelfish comes from the Red Sea, in captivity it grows to about 12 inches. It is a hardy inhabitant that will accept most prepared foods. To ensure good health and long term results you need at least 100 gallon and excellent water quality.
