supersize

Description: Compatibility: Reef Safe
Maximum Size: Up to 16"
Minimum Tank Size: 100 gallon, preferably 125+
Temperature: 78-82F
Diet: Will accept frozen prepared foods, pellets, suppliment with algae
Level of care: Medium To Advanced
General Notes: The Desjardini Sailfin Tang, similar to, but not to be confused with the Pacific Sailfin Tang, hails from the Central and South Pacific. A beautifully patterned fish with vibrant yellow, white, and brownish markings, the Desjardini is not extremely difficult to keep, but is not for newcomers to the marine hobby. They enjoy alot of swimming space and stable water parameters to thrive, along with a good diet including meaty foods and algaes. Has a tendency to be aggressive toward tangs of similar shape, and newly added tangs. When mantaining more than one tang in the same aquarium, it is best to add simultaneously.
