Description: Size: 4"
Temperature: 72-84F

These fish do not need to be kept in a school. But do well in pairs (male and female, around he same size). They are mainly midwater fish but they will often swim along the surface or pick at the gravel. During spawning males will becom very competitive. As with other labyrinth fish they will construct bubble nests at the surface

Pros: Big peaceful fish, hardy
Cons:

A great fish for beginners (you'll need a bigger tank)
