Description: Size:4"
Temperature: 72-84F

The body of the Skunk Botia Loach is pinkish in coloration with a black stripe running from the nose to the tail along the back of the fish. The fins range in coloration from yellow to bright orange. This is a semi-aggressive fish that does best when kept with several others of its kind. Bottom dwelling, the Skunk Botia will scavenge leftover food which sinks to the bottom of the aquarium, but will also out compete more timid fish at feeding time. Ideally, the Skunk Botia should be provided with a cave or similar object in which to hide while it sleeps. Coarse substrate can be damaging to this fish because it spends so much time near the bottom of the aquarium.

Pros:
Cons:

these guys are active, and entertaining but they can chase other fish and be bothersome to fish that don't like things active. they sometimes chase tank mates. They will chase each other around if you keep more than one, this can keep them from bothering others so much.
