Ever see a fish swimming nose downward at about a 45 degree angle? The Marbled Headstander is one of four headstander fish with this distinguishing characteristic. This black lined fish tends to be shy but semi aggressive towards other fish. The headstander needs a well covered tank (they are jumpers) of 30 gallons or more, hiding places such as caves, plants to nibble upon or an occassional piece of lettuce. Also can be fed pellets or flake food. They are best kept in single numbers as they do not generally get along with their own species. An abramite is an interesting addition to any aggressive tank.
