Other Info: Color forms are usual white, pearlescent, or yellow. Large, bubble-like polyps cover the white, hard skeleton that is visible when the polyps are deflated. Common to many LPS, it possesses sweeper tentacles which are capable are harming other nearby corals. High water flow can hamper full expansion of the polyps. Due to its fragile nature, the polyps can easily puncture. Maintenance of calcium and trace elements is necessary. Polyps derive most of its nutritional requirements from photosynthesis and it may be fed brine shrimp or plankton.
