Other Info: Can range in color from Purple, Orange, Green, and Red/Orange. Their polyps vary in shape from short, club-like, to berry shapes. Viewed by many as similar to the stony corals. Reproduction is by longitudinal fission. Symbiotic zooxanthellae provide the majority of its nutrition and may eat plankton and small crustaceans.
