Maximum Size: 22 inches
Minimum Tank Size: 55G until adults...then 90g
Temperature: 72-82F
Diet: They enjoy eating a variety of foods and especially enjoy lettuce, cucumber and algae tablets.
Level of care: Easy
General Notes: A large peaceful pleco that enjoys its space, and therefore should not be kept with other plecos in smaller tanks because they get territorial. They are named sailfin pleco because of their large dorsal fin which they show. This pleco does well with other large fish in a community environment.
