Description: Compatibility: Peaceful Schooling Community Fish
Maximum Size: 2.5-3 inches
Minimum Tank Size: 10G
Temperature: 72-82F
Diet: Readily eats most foods
Level of care: Easy
General Notes: These tetras are great for community tanks. There are long finned and short finned varieties, and some pet stores carry the artificially dyed version of these fish as blueberry or strawberry tetras. White Skirts look best in groups, although they dont always tightly school. Males are noticeably slimmer. These fish are slow graceful swimmers and their striking bright white color is a very attractive contrast in a planted tank.

Pros: peaceful, schooling,
Cons:

great beginner tetra. Are sometimes artifically dyed and sold as fruit salad tetras...a cruel practice IMO.
When they are comfortable in the tank they tend to school in looser, less \"tight\" packs. Get along with most all fish and aren\'t very picky with food. All around great beginner fish!

Pros: Pretty Fish, Calm
Cons: Hard to adapt

Hard to get them to adapt. Not very hardy fish. I had a pink dyed on. They like a school of 3 maybe at the most a pair can do just fine! Fun to watch...
