Temperature: 64-82F
Diet: Flake food as staple, would love some frozen/live food also.
Level of care: Easy
General Notes: Bloodfin Tetras are a great beginner fish because they are hardy and easy to keep. They can be kept in an unheated tank, however that isn't generally reccomended because when they get too cold their colors will fade. This is a schooling fish and likes to be in groups of at least 4 or 5. Thanks to smalltank3 for the photo!

Pros:	Very hardy
Cons:	none

I cycled my tank with a small school of bloodfin tetras and all made it through the cycle and lived on long after that. This variety of tetra is a very hardy fish.
