Description:
|
Compatibility: Peaceful community fish
Maximum Size: 2.5 inches
Minimum Tank Size: 10G
Temperature: 72-82F
Diet: Accepts flake food, and many varieties of live/frozen foods, not a picky eater.
Level of care: Easy
General Notes: This fish is best kept in groups. They can be very skittish if there are not enough hiding places, too few of them, or they are kept with larger more aggressive fish. They are not incredibly active tetras, but are very beautiful. Their striking colors are complimented by a nicely planted tank.

I have 2 of these, 1 small one big, and they get along with everyone I've had. Sometimes is looks like they play tag together, but never hurt each other. They will eat almost anything. They are also quite active.
