Description: Compatibility: Community
Maximum Size: 6 inches
Minimum Tank Size: 30G
Temperature: 68-81 F
Diet: They will eat live foods such as bloodworms, earthworms, and tubifex. They may also eat frozen foods as well as flakes or tablets that have sunk to the bottom.
Level of care: Easy to keep, just make sure you keep your water clean, and give them places to hide.
General Notes: Not very active in the day, as they are nocturnal. They don't get very large and are suitable for the community aquarium. They will take flakes, food tablets or live food but they also graze on algae and leftover food. Cool, peaceful, and unusual fish. Prefers a sandy substrate.
