Pros: absolutely beautiful
Cons: absolutely difficult.

that picture simply does not do justice to this plant's true beauty; it's crimson red to burgandy tops provide excellent contrast.

However, it requires very high light and CO2, and even then is difficult. I had several bunches that grew well, but when they got too high and I cut them down, both the origional plants and the replanted tops quickly died off.

Pros: BEAUTIFUL plants
Cons: none so far...

This is a gorgious plant that I have in my 30 gallon brackish. It's red tips add different color to the sea of green, and really stand out. It also adds to the "jungle affect". It's 'leaves', I guess you could call them, are a bit fragile and break off frequently. But otherwise, I have CO2 in my tank and this plant grows really well.

Pros: Very Beautiful
Cons: Very messy, can clog up filter intake

I had this only for a little while because of all of the leaves that fell of and clog up my filterIt has a beautiful color by the way...If you have a sponge intake on your filter or have something covering the intake I recommend this plant because of the color
