Now I would say he is half black now. I had no idea they could turn colors. We have 8 fish in our koi pond - 4 are gold fish and 4 are koi. The only one to change colors is my black guy... I've seen moors turn copper after 2 or 3 yrs. It doesn't look like it, but beware of fish that look like they have lipstick as this is now a fad with tattooing.
