Post Ooohhhh Fishes :)

Hi all

Just thought I'd be polite and say hello...

I am new to fish keeping and only have a tiny tank with 5 Zebras and 2 Dwarf Corys. I have real plants but may have to go to fake as they keep growing to quickly...

I am looking to upgrade to a bigger tank once I move at the end of the year.

Look forward to all the help you can all give me

Not a Medic...

Just needed a name for my online game playing and thought of Medic than found out that someone already had that so I went to Medic6666.

Have already learn't a few things already. When I have time I am going to read through a lot more of the messages...

Very Small = 20Ltrs

Only had enough space in my flat for this sized tank.

@the end of the year my and my g/f are moving into a house.

I am going to get a much bigger tank then. Just building up my skillz so when I get the bigger tank I should be ok.

People keep saying that keeping a small tank is harder than a large tank. I have this small tank, ran a fish less cycle for 4 weeks with only plants in, then added 5 zebras and then 2 weeks later added 2 dwarf corys. The fish seem perfectly happy and the water is always clear with not much algea. So i'm not sure if i'm doing it all right or i'm just lucky

Hi Medic and welcome a-"board"

He he, a 10g doesn't take up that much more room than a 5g (20Litre)....at least that's MY reasoning! You'd be surprised where you can shoehorn tanks in.
