Post Hey Hey Hey

Hey I'm a 19 year old sophomore at Purdue University (home is Houston, TX).  I am studying computer science.  I just got started on my first tank about a month ago and found this site trying to find a fish site that would give me information not tainted with the motivation for profit.  Right now I've only got a 10 gallon freshwater community tank, but once I get out of the dorms and into more space, I plan on having multiple tanks and much largers ones.  I'll probably end up spending alot of money on this hobby whichI'm sure will be worth every penny.  Well that's about all there is to say about me.  I'm sure I'll be posting quite a bit, well I kind of have been.  Take it easy everyone.

--Jason

PS- As for the name AquariumBoiler, I don't actually boil aquariums, Purdue's mascot is the Boilermaker and I have an aquarium so that's what that's all about.

Post Re: Hey Hey Hey

Here's my 10gal tank as it is right now:

fairly standard gravel (not sure exactly which kind), a bunch of plastic plants and rocks (will get real plants when i come back from holiday break), AquaClear Mini, Thermal Compact heater
as far as fish, I've got 4 zebra danios, 1 platy, 1 dalmation molly, 1 black widow tetra, 1 queen loach, and 1 opaline gourrami.  Probably not the most thought out selection, but I kinda set it up on the spur of the moment.  Wish I would've found this site about a month ago.
