Hello everyone. I have a 55 gallon tank. My husband and I were told that it's best to start with a fresh water tank. We really wanted a salt water tank but according to the aquarium pet owner we met, it cost A LOT and it's harder to manage. So here we are, ready to get our fresh water tank started.
I believe we have the basic stuff like rocks, decor, filter, lighting (which we need to change), and I believe a pump.
I would like to know what's the first thing I need to do and what's the MOST important equipment I MUST have.
I know we'll need chemicals, is there a place in this forum where I can find this information?
