Ready for an algae eater! But which kind?

I love mystery snails. They come in different beautiful colours, and you can find them in pet stores or order off of Amazon. They are fresh water aquatic snails that come up to the surface to breathe air, and eat algae on plants, up the sides of the glass, and inside caves-really, wherever...

    Skin rash... ???

No experiences with that, but check the ingredients to see if any of it is skin irritating. You might need to see a Dr if it persists to make sure it's safe for you to continue to be in contact with. Glad your fish like it even though your skin doesn't seem to! Hope all goes well :)

My unsexed Ivory is doing the same thing. The only difference is that the 'new' shell is much much healthier, so maybe that's it? I got him/her this past week to help Betty, my black mystery who's been lethargic since my golden, Harold, passed.

    Mystery snails+fish+heavily planted 10 gal

That looks like a nice set up! I was worried that 5 female bettas would be a bit cramped, but I had no idea that they might eat the shrimp! I really needed that info since I was considering possibly doing 5 shrimp and 3 bettas. The celestial pearl danios look beautiful, I might add a few of...
