Question amount of light

i have a 20 gallon ,what is the lowest amount of light to have for live rock? or for it to grow good

You could use standard pc lighting and maintain the live rock and grow coraline algae.....but if wanting to add corals you will need to upgrade the lighting.

Light for growing the coraline algae on LR? 70W PC, maybe even less.

You can keep LR without light and feed the tank, then sponges, worms and turnicates will grow in cryptic environment.
