Post a new salt question

Would it be possible to house anemonies and clowns (just a few) in a 12 gallon eclipse tank?  With live rock and crushed coral of course.

No anemonies... I am an experienced marine veteran, and I can guarantee the death of any anemone placed in the tank in months. In the wild anemones live upto several hundred years. In captive systems, most (98%) die the first year. Anemones need IMPECCABLE water quality and extremely HIGH WATTAGE lighting. If you had a good deal of experience, no fish (will degrade water quality very quick), and used a decent power metal halide (75w) you might be able to keep a few anemones alive for a couple years. For the same effort you can have a thriving mini reef with a small percula clown or two, which will look better anyways.

If this isn't enough to convince you i'll tell my anemone story.
