just got this sucker yesterday...kinda wanted a porcelain, but the emerald crab does a better job on hair algae from my understanding so i went thata way...will try to get a better pic at some point

its ~2in across...fully grown at this point...its fine with fish, scavenger that feeds mostly off bubble and hair algae...the claws arent actually sharp, more like pliers...fun to watch...ive got some better pics from tonight that ill try to get up

That is cool. I had 12 redclaw fresh water crab but they recently died cuz of a dirty tank(I was gone for 2 weeks and didn;t know the tank would get dirty so fast-hey I am a noobie ) I love crusteceans(spelling?). Cool crab man, get some more pics!
how much was that sucker? i'm interested. only problem i see would be i have a 1.5 inch yellow goby (really tiny fella) and he sits at the bottom, do you guys think the emerald crab might go after it?
