Kenny's 55gal

Well, soon, I'm hoping to have school D-O-N-E FINALLY!!, so, I'm going to start saving up, and fixing up this 55gal I have.

Most of this fish will be moving eventually, but, I'm going to see what I can do about keeping some of these plants in here.

Here's the general look of it now, before it gets tore down soon.

Wish me luck. It will be an adventure!

Ok; This tank, basically, will have NO scape, just a nice tank with Various Plants.

What it'll have:
55gal Tank with Deluxe Tank Stand [cherry side panels]
275W Stealth Heater w/ Thermometer
Black Background [painted]
2x 24" Glass Lids
48" 108W T5 Nova Extreme SL-R light
Emporer 400 Bio-Wheel Filter
Eheim 2028 Pro II Canister Filter
Black Onyx Sand
Co2?
Flora & Fauna: Not chose yet...

LOL - I know; That's the best looking part of the entire tank!

I'm not sure where exactly I'm going with Flora as some of these swords might get thrown away [too ratty] and I want some different plants in here as well...

Fish is basically the same way, but I'm not throwing them away. lol

No progress on this tank yet.

I've almost finished the stocking idea, but no quite there yet. As for the plants...I'm not sure of that either! lol

I do however know, I'm going to pull the Vals from my 29 to put in here so they'll have more room to do what they want. More then likely, this tank will also have my Marsilea carpet while my 29 has E. Tenellus & Dwarf Sag[along with C. Parva.

This tank, depending on if I get what I'm looking for/wanting, will get a carpet of Dwarf Hairgrass since this one is higher light & will have Co2.

He said he had a stocking plan for fish, he just didnt want to share it with us...LOL

Seems like youre changin your mind quite often about your tank's inhabitants there Kenny :P

Yeah, there is going to be fish. The only ones I know for sure are a German Blue Ram pair & 9 Cardinal Tetras...that's all I can really think of right now.

My mom was tempting me to put my goldfish in here & drain out 1/2 of the 29 and make it a riparium...but.........resisting!! LOL

Your family sounds very aquarium oriented, since you guys have some many tanks going. lucky you lol. Those sound like good choices.
