Titan moved to a divided tank last night...so I bought a new betta. His name is "Pumpkin" since it's Halloween and he's orange...ish. He's got Celephane coloration...so he's pretty cool.

Px will be up soon...probably when the tank is done.

Ok...so I FINALLY took the time to do this right:

Enjoy! You can tell the changes, so there is no need to go into detail!

Betta & tank are thriving! I added 1 Hygrophila Corymbosa 'Siamensis' in here along with some Rotala Indica, a Marbled Queen Radican Sword, &, a Tiger Lotus

Have you ever tried a tank with only two species of plants? rather than a whole bunch of different types? it sounds cool so far, pics please :P

I'm sure I have, but for right now, until I can get other tanks going, my 5.5 is going to be a jungle.

I'm going to start looking for a 16" T-6 SL-R light. I'm hoping to have some more demanding plants in this tank[and moving out the others] and start adding in c02:

Ludwigia Glandulosa
Blyxa Japonica
L. Aromatica
H.C

Px will come tomorrow...maybe. My laptop is going back to Dell...I think... tomorrow so it's a bit more complex to get px now.

Betta is doing good [other then me winning his fight from Fin-Rot and then developing Hemorrhagic Septicemia that I'm trying to knock out with T.C.]...and his tank is a jungle. It's going to stay this way since I'm tearing down my 10 soon to setup a Riparium where it was & I want a new, specific, stand for it and all the plants from there, are in here.

I want to one day attempt to build this one it's own stand!

Ugh, I know why my betta is sick from diagnoses of the other tank. a 100% WC should make things right & a full TC treatment for the Septi. Atleast it's manageable. It *COULD* be worse!

He looks fine to me other then the red fins [not cherry red, so still treatable!], but I've had bettas before with permanent septi. and it never hurt them...meaning, they lived good lives.

Ugh, this tank let me down majorly...

I tore it down and am in the process of bleach soaking it...but in it's place is my 10 which has plants pearling, colors popping, etc. It's 4WPG as well and all the plants are well...The only thing is...I dumped the substrate...so, this tank is bare-bottom ATM. I'm working on getting some onyx sand for it.

Pumpkin & his snails are fine and enjoying the 5 extra gallons...lol.

When I get the 10 looking good, I'll start another journal but

R.I.P. 5.5gal

[for now]
