Good to hear them bettas are doing good. I also had a very small snail in my 2.5 gal, but i think my golden apple snail ate it lols. the apple is only 1000x bigger than the unknown snail. in fact the little snail wasnt even as big as the apple's mouth. needless to say that i dont see the small snail anymore.

Try getting willow moss on those rocks.

LOL about the snails. He loves to hunt them, but most have disappeared into the gravel [Malaysian Trumpet Snails]. I have a Golden Mystery Snail in my 10, but he's pretty laid back. He only eats the food & dead plants.

Wait - Willow Moss? I thought that grows down...Hmmmm...a moss tree would be cool. I wonder about Fissidens?

I'm not sure...that looks a bit demanding....hmmm....I'll be moving in a few years, so I really do need these tanks to be easier to move [this will be one I keep with me].

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This tank is cloudy AGAIN!!! **** IT!!! I'm going to the salty side when this betta gets his 3gal. Everything in here [rocks, gravel, plants] are getting scrapped and it's starting completely over.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....after being gone for a few hours today, I came back to a mostly clear tank!? I'm a bit confused. It couldn't be cycled/ing this early!! Betta is fine and showing off for his grrrl.

yea tanks have the tendency to become crystal clear and murky back and forth quite often. maybe you had some gravel dust floatin around...or food particles.

Well, If it was running for a month or more, I could see it...but I washed the gravel completely clean yesterday & my betta ate all of his food...so I'm a bit confused?? The 10 is waaaayyyyyyy dirtier[fry make it hard to clean!] with dead plant leaves and dead plants floating about, yet, their tank is crystal clear. I hope this one resolves it's issues. The other day, my 29 turned milky and was back to normal within an hour!

*sigh* tanks....

For the most part, it's clear.

I dropped the light yesterday and the bulb shattered so, I'm using an older light until I can get a better fitting one [as soon as I get a new job].

youre lucky if youre just able to switch jobs like that...it would be difficult for me to do that.
