It's really funny to see them flaring at each other then the goldfish chasing Chick [the red one] off. lol. It doesn't help though that's she's not the dominate! Venus [the other], is.

Ok...so I was bad and bought 2 more female bettas [was hoping to one day have 10...but not in this tank]. One is a perfect fit in here and is very peaceful and lets the other 2 run the tank [which might change later...]...the other was wanting to be the dominate one and would not stop fighting chick...so when I pulled chick out to see if that would help, she went after Venus. Oh well, the tank is peaceful and the mean one has her own tank. Thinking about buying another few soon...but I'm REALLY hoping to have whatever tank I want them to be in soon.

I *almost* bought a hornet cichlid for my 10 since they are rare for me but was able to say "No."

I bought a new light bulb. Plants & fish are great. Px will be up as soon as my 5.5 is ready.

Is that a pink Roseatte lamp?

Anyway it looks nice. Two filters? thats interesting, how bad is the current they put out?

I've always wanted a 20 gallon long to make into a blackwater amazon tank with some neons, tons of pigmy cories, and a few dwarf gourami. some dry leaves and white sand for the bottom, lots of driftwood, and some floating amazon frogbit...Going completely off here, sorry xD

No...I don't think so. The color is just alittle bit off. The box that contained it said "G.E. AquaRays"...of course both this fat one and the skinny one [Marineland Natural Daylight that's almost dead] are T8's.

As for the 2 filters, they aren't very powerful, but they certainly do their job! I'm going to replace them for a Rena Filstar xP1 Canister Filter.

It's funny you mention an amazon tank. A while back, this one was exactly as you described. I got bored with it pretty quick though and went to S.E. Asian so I could actually have a ton of plants.

Still tho, my mom is eventually buying a 20gL and the 55 is becoming mine. Her tank still has a variety.

I added the 3 Amazon Swords and 6 Vals from my 10 today. I'm planning on keeping atleast one of the swords in my 10 tho...another in my mom's 20gL and the last one in here. If they all survive!

Both.

I added 3 Peppered Cories & 2 Clown Plecos yesterday, but they still need to acclimate [they are old-ish [clowns 1 year, cories, 4 years] and from the 55] before I take px. PLUS, I'm not done rescaping the tank as I don't have any of my new plants yet.
