Default my 55 gal after

my 55 tank after update

55gal tank
filtration = emperor 440 and topfin 60
fish = 1 exaperatus,1 ob zebra,1 cobalt blue,1m&1f kenyi,2 red zebra,2m yellow lab,2 johanni,2 auratus,1 jewel, 1 pleco ,
substrate = 65lbs pool filter sand
plants = plastic
rocks = 50lbs texas holey rock & 1 plastic corner thing
ph=7.8
temp = 80

it's not bad but planed tanks are the thing here. if you ain't got a fancy planted tank it ain't cool.thats another reason i don't post my tank all wood and rock,and 4 half dead shoots of vals.how is the agression in your tank.you might want to add some more rock so there are more cracks and crevices to hide in and dodge bullies.

those rocks are texas holey rocks, made of limestone, and its hard to tell, but there are lots of holes and hiding spots in those rocks, they average about 3-4 good 2" holes per rock, and yeah i have noticed people tend to swing more towards planted tanks, if i want to grow weeds ill do that im my yard,,,< Just kidding plant lovers>

lots of people sell them,they are even on ebay, but it gets pricey with shipping cost, as far as i know they only come from texas

www.armkes.com and ebay and other sites sell holey rock, it is the best for rock dwelling africans because it has lots of holes and buffers the water to keep the pH high
