Pic....shurs???

There's still some algae, I didn't get to clean it much, I was trimming my dog's hair... poor thing... her hair is uneven, haha.... I'll have to fix it tomorrow. She won't let me near her anymore, today.

Notice the happy betta and his bubble nest!

nice slope on the substrate- that is something I have never ever been able to do. Betta does look happy Nice plan there EC- it looks like it will fill in to be a very nice layout to me

Thanks. I'm sure the slope will start to level out after a while though.... unless my elatine triandra decides to finally start growing fast and covers the tank quickly already.

One of the reasons it's stayed that sloped so long is because my dad topped off the tank (the few times he did) from the lower end, moving sand back up the slope as he added the water.

So I haven't been around very much lately, but I'm still going at it. Just wanted to note that this tank has died .

About a week after I got back into town, my betta seemed to have developed dropsy and died... so I just neglected the tank. The crypts were starting to grow emersed (b/c of evap and no top-off), since the substrate was still wet. But I've now transfered them over to my 10g till they grown in a bit more, then they're going to the 100g.

I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything fish related with this tank, for now. I can't decide whether to use it to grow out some crypts in emersed form for my 100g or use it for work to demonstrate the difference between reflection and refraction...
