| Sneak peak at what I'm trying to do with my 10g that I set back up a couple of weeks ago. It's going to have a couple of smaller 'lava rocks' in between the foreground as well, I just couldn't get this dang AquaSketcher to get me smaller rocks. ![]() The plants I'm using are:

| I haven't decided what to add yet, so I'm open to suggestions. I was originally going to add my male betta, but he's going into the 29. I then considered adding the 15 or so green neon tetras from my 100g in here, since they stay at around 3/4", so that I could add my ~25 neon tetras from the 100 into the 29g with the betta, and then get some discus to go with my rams in the 100g. But now, instead, I was thinking of doing a sorority tank, with female bettas, but I'm afraid the openness won't provide enough cover and territories. Luckily, it's still cycling, so I have time to think it through. |

Haha, sorry, I didn't see this until now. If I would've seen this before my impulse betta buy last week, I would've considered this, especially since I can find Galaxy Rasboras somewhat easily here in Houston. I put one of the bettas in here though, and snatched some of the neon tetra from my 100g. The green neons were too smart to fall for my bait. They were faster too. ![]() | |

| Nothing much to report on this tank... Surprisingly, the sunset hygro didn't grow very much at all, it stayed pretty compact. I havent' spent any time on this tank since I got back home. I'm going to top it off so I can do a decent water change. All my red cherry shrimp disappeared. I told my dad to feed the fish lightly, and he did, and they feasted on the cherries. I've still got some in the 20 though.... tons of them, actually. I'll move some over again once I get back again in August. |

| I've decided to scrap the 10g planted idea and go with the 15g riparium. ![]() I'll be moving the neons back into the 100, the betta will be in the 2.5 until I can get this set up and cycled. At best, it's a 2-3 months away. I was going to sell the 15g tank that I had, but then got inspired when I saw some journals on ripariums on TPT forum. I'm going to grow some plants in the 20g first, and add them to the other tanks they were intended for, then I'll start to grow-out some for the 15g riparium. Once this is set up and cycled, I'll add the betta back in here. I'm excited about this build ![]() |
