| Tom's 10g Red Cherry Shrimp tank I recently turned this 10g QT....
...into a shrimp tank...
I purchased over 2 dozen Red Cherry Shrimp from a man in AZ a month ago. I was intending to just have a 10g planted tank with no CO2 and 2 wpg with a small school of black neon tetras but went ahead and did something I have been wanting to do for a long time. The tetras will be moved to the 55g tank soon. |

All 27 that arrived are still alive and healthy. My tetras are not bigh enough to eat them, but they can eat any babies that are born (I have three or four shrimps at the moment that are berried). |

| The tank is exploding with hundreds of tiny baby shrimp. I took out the HOB filter several weeks ago and replaced it with a sponge filter. I also took out the fish
Here's a pic from before swapping out the filter (about the only difference in the previous pic is the amount of plant growth): |

| Babies will probably still survive in the moss and dense/fine plants. |
