well I think they pretty well disappeared when I took the top half of the clay substrate out and added the soil.

i like the peppermint

we used to have it at my old house, never thought it could be in water. i thought it would rot but thats cool

yo can chew on the leaves too

haha I plan on making tea from it. But I found out it likely isn't peppermint- that is a hybrid between water mint and spearmint- and this plant looks like neither :/. Oh well- either way they are minty and won't likely kill me if I boil it for tea haha.

Oh- by the way- this tank got taken down entirely. I couldn't find a suitable inhabitant, and I liked the plants too much- particularly the mint. I took the whole tank down and made soil be the sole substrate, and I am now growing and harvesting mint for my own personal use. I researched the type- it is Mentha Canadensis aka Canadian Wild Mint.

So this is no longer a tank for rating, but if anyone has any questions or curiosities or concerns then I would love to discuss them here
