The plant in the back seemed to not get enough light...it was dying...so I moved it to the front. It looks healthier now.
(Can you spot Weebo?)

lol, just saw this. I was going to do that with construction paper... but I remember I gave what little construction paper I had to my little sisters last time they were visiting. I'll probably just stop by office max on the way home from work and buy a small pack and do that.

i gotta remember to take those pictures i promised for my journal, it's been one crazy week...

btw, good job with your tank kissy! I like the plants.
lol, the geologist in me wants to create all these complex geolgic structures in my tanks, i may use the K.I.S.S. method now though.

Bubbles are in! Here it is...the bubbles were WAY too much and were creating a huge current even without the filter on, so I added a valve and now it's much better. You can't really see the bubbles but they are there in the front. They look like lines. Hehe. I'm happy!

Well, I basically killed those two plants.
They've definitely decreased in size. And I moved the bubbles to the left and removed the otos. So now it's just weebo in there. You can see her on the top.

When I had the 5g hex set up with a CF bulb, I found the only plants I could keep were low light plants. Anything needing medium light would do poorly in the long term.

Java fern, anubias and crypts worked OK for me.

Well, I came back from vacation and the plants were basically dead. So I have (temporarily) two fake plants in there now. I moved the others into the 20g so they can regrow. I'll check into the java fern cuz it sounds cool.
