Default 29 gal planted tank

Tank setup 10/04. This is the tank that introduced me into this addicting hobby. Once i get a bigger place I am already planning on a 100+ gal tank. Tank has progressed quite a bit since i first started...

first month...

As far a the 20 watt strip that came with the light could go with the plants...

3 weeks after upgrading light to 65 watt PC...

Comments welcome.

looks very green. I like it. Even the red lotus you have. I am glad you took the Myan obelisk out. I bought one of those but it really made the tank look a bit goofy, so I returned it.

Thanks. I have quite a few fish in the 29, but they always end up hiding when i start with the camera.

Fish:
1 Bolivian Ram
1 Keyhole cichlid
7 glolite tetras
3 Red tail dalmation platies
3 corydora
7 amano shrimp

I still have a trio of baby black mollies in my 10 gal that are going into this tank when they are big enough.

Plants:
Couple amazon swords
Lotus lilly plants in the right corner
2 types of anubias
banana plants
java fern
some pygmy chain swords...

Recently added a couple strands of rotala, bacopa, and wisteria.

It did look goofy, but back when i first got into this it was the coolest decoration i could find at the local Petco. Luckly i discovered the joy of keeping real plants in the tank so i try to stay as far away from the bubbling treasure chests and purple dragon ornaments as i can when i go to look at the fish.

Beautiful tank. I hope my tiger lotus ends up looking half as good as yours does. I love the driftwood

Nice tank! So clean looking!

I acctually like the head decoration in the first shot. I think it'd look pretty good blended between the plants like an overgrown temple or something from long ago. But the tank looks very natural now and i love it. Also like the wood/wood placement.
