Default Gars

The needle-nose gar from S.E. Asia would make a really cool fish in a species tank.

This fish doesn't get over 12 inches and stays relatively small in terms of weight.

thats a really neat fish, they did sell them at my lfs, i havent seen them in about a month or so. no room in my tanks for it though. how big is that alligator gar? looks really big.

Not sure on the Alligator Gar....... I think it can get over 4 feet in length.... It is a freshwater fish native to the S.E. US (Florida)..... A lot of people go fishing for this species......

i read an article on this fish the other day, apparently one killed a small child a few years ago :O

Is that your needle-nose gar? He looks kind of cute in that predatory way Reminds me of a pteradactyl.
