Default ADF sunbathing?

So I get home tonight to find my ADF floating on his back his little legs and arms all spread out. So I said "Don't be dead dude! :*( " and I poked his belly with my finger. I don't know who was startled more, me or the frog but he did his Sir Robin imatation and ran away. LOL

Is this normal behavior? It's the first time I've ever seen him do that.

Floating on his back? With his belly up?? That's odd. To be floating normally isn't unusual, but I've never seen one do it upside down. Hm...

Keep an eye on it. It's frequent enough that they float and people take them for dead (only to poke them as you did and get quite a surprise! Been there, done that!).

I've never seen one laying on it's back normally. Mine tends to lean back too far when feeding, and fall onto his back.

He could have just found a comfy position, maybe he likes the current on his back?
