cooooool pic! I just got 12 ghost shrimp yesterday for the first time...I had to order them online...they are so neat! I'm gonna spare them from being a gut-loaded meal for my puffers cos they are so cute
hmm...did your ghost shrimp injest something to give it that flourescent blue coloring? pretty nice pic btw, i wish i my digital camera could zoom/focus on smaller objects like that
awesome pic i find that when i bring home ghost shrimp they turn blue, i guess its from all the stress but once they settle in my tank they turn back into clear shrimp but that would be awesome to have a blue see through shrimp all the time.
You could try to ID it at a shrimp forum like: http://www.shrimpnow.com/
There are a Lot of shrimp gurus there.

i think that is a real ghost shrimp but the only thing that throws me off is the blue eyes :/ didn't know the eye color changes when they are blueish looking. I went to my lfs today and in their big planted tank they had all these dead amanos then in the corner of the tank there were all these amanos with a little blue tint so i really think its just stressed out or something, but maybe its cause of a differnt reason. You can tell its a ghost shrimp because of a few traits, like the little red light on it's antenna and the white stripe on its back and also the sort of pointy nose thingy is excactly the same as a ghost shrimp.
