How would you go about transferring cherry shrimp from and to another tank?

I usually bait my shrimp with an algae wafer, then net them out. I don't generally acclimate between my own tanks if I know the parameters are more or less the same.

I believe they usually live about a year.

IME, everything eats baby shrimp, but the adults can usually fend for themselves as long as they aren't small enough to fit in the mouth of the fish whole.

My red eye tetras thought my shrimp were food when I first put them in but when they realized that the food was bigger and feistier than they expected they lived together fine.

How much room do these little guys need? Could I put a pair in a 2G? That too crowded? Room for more?

You could probably put 3, 4 or 5 in a 2g tank pretty easily. I once had some in a 1g (or less) vase for a while, and somehow they managed to breed
