I lost my favourite Betta this afternoon, I saw him this morning and he wasn't doing very well so I added some betta remedy and it didn't work....He was my project when I got him, he couldn't swim cause I saved him from a cup at Petcetera, I didn't care that he didn't have a personality at the time, he was just a BEAUTIFUL fish and I felt bad that he couldn't swim....He started in a teeny tiny fish bowl half full cause he was a non-swimmer and slowly I added water to force him to swim a bit farther to the top, then moved him to a bigger bowl and slowly added water again till he was ready for his own 3g tank which he lived in happily pigging out on blood worms and playing in his plants....Well I hope he's happy up there...

sorry for your loss animal. that was a marvelous thing you did for the betta. im going out on a limb but im going to say he lived a happier life before his demise in your hands rather the the LFS.
