Too Sick

Hey all.. remembering when I was talking about my Fighter fish.... Linxs... Well I finally got up enough nerve to take him out yestarday.... He was standing straight up and down in his little bowl... wasn't moving around much, not eating the last couple of days.. I was soo sad.. I had him going on meds.. and I just think he was too far gone... :-(!
His whole little body was full of white cotton stuff, his belly was huge under his gills, and his face was starting to loose all his color.. His scales were starting to flip up cause of his enlargement...
Sigh..... how we get attached to quickly.....

I'm sorry to hear that I've said it before...I think it's "easier" to become attached to a fish like a betta. They've got such little "person"alities. And it's not like, say, a neon in a school of 10 that you couldn't identify. It definitely stinks to lose them

Yes we do get attached to them.. I really liked this fighter.. he was sooo pretty....... But... I just didn't think he was going to make it any longer.... I put him in the toilet.. and he just sat there.... taking in water.. and I flushed him as fast as I could.. so I didn't have to stand there and watch him die... :-(

I have 7 neons now.. and oh dear... I can't remember which one we got first....
