Bye bye hybred

Well, I got him 2 weeks ago thinking he was a rusty... he looked like one. But the more I looked at him the more I relized he was some kind of hybred. I dont know how I missed it in the store.

The other rustys bullied him and made him hide all the time.
Today when I looked for him i found him hideing dead under a rock. I dont know how he could have gotten under it. But he did. He hid so well he couldnt even find himself.

Maybe it was for the best. But I gotta give him his props.

Sorry to hear about that Maybe in the store you didn't really see his colors too well if he was a little stressed, and that's why you mistook him for something else.

Lotus, thats what I think happened. Just lighting. Ill have to be more careful from now on.

Igor. A rusty is a kind of cichlid "Iodotropheus sprengerae" to be exact.

No pics. Actualy. I was about to round him up and take some to see if anyone could confirm that he was a bumble bee/rusty hybred, or what he might be crossed with. Trying to figure out what he would eventualy grow to size wise.... Looks like that dosent matter now.
