Default Aquarium stand too small?

I have a stand thats 26in. x 14in. x 36in. (l x w x h). The Aquapod, which is 16.5in. x 15in. x 16.5in. , is an inch wider then the stand. would it be alright if the back part of it stuck out an inch, or is it just to small?

Some specs of the Aquapod:

Acrilic(?)
has an overflow in back part
Front part holds 12 gal. and back part holds 4 gal. for a total of 16 gal. in the entire thing.
its going to hold about 12-15lbs of LR.

Hope that helps! Thanks

You'll need to get a stand that supports the entire tank, so none hangs over the side. The tank will break sooner or later if part of it hangs over. One thing you could do is get a piece of wood that's the size of the tank and put it on top of the stand.

Tanks Lotus.

I'm going to try to do that today.
