Default Platies!!!!!

I have two male platies with no females in the tank one of the male platies keeps nipping the other platy's tail is this normal or is it teritorial. Plz help.

they also came from the same tank i dont even wanna think about wats gonna happen wen i turn the lites out.

I wouldnt worry until the other platy is missing part of his fin.
