Default Want to create a 20 gal saltwater tank

Hi, I am going to start a saltwater 20 gal tank, I have a eclipse 1 hood w/bio-wheel filter (is this recommended to use in saltwater?) I saw this lady at a LFS with the exact same tank and exlipse hood and had 2 clownfish in there, so i am wondering if u guys can help me on what to go buy and how much of each. (the lady had live sand, live rock, and no mods to the eclipse hood, ive heard people say i have to mod my hood, if this is true what do i need to mod?? please HELP!!! thanks in advance.

Well, you will have to mod the hood if you want to keep corals. Also if you want a protein skimmer you will need to cut a hole in the back. If all you want to do is keep some clownfish and some invert; sand, and live rock is perfectly acceptable. (I recommend 10-25lbs of live rock and 15-20lbs of live sand.
