|  My Clear-Cloudy-Clear Tank Hello. I have a 12 gal Nanaocube with a large hunk of live rock, some live sand, 1 firefish, 1 maroon clown, 1 bulb anenome, 2 reef hermits, and 2 snails. The tank has been up for about 2 months and everyone is doing very well. There's just one problem, every morning when the light comes on at 7 a.m., the tank looks nice and clear. By 9 a.m. it's hazy, and by 11:30 a.m. it's pretty cloudy. After that, it begins to clear, and by 3 p.m. it's crystal clear. I do a 10 percent water change every week, and have removed most of the stock filter equipment. I have left the stock sponge filter in and added a Chemi-pure bag and some extra filter fiber. Any idea why this is happening, and more importantly, how to fix it? |

| well...off hand i would say there is a nutrient buildup occuring over night...could be a result of the filters...thats a lot of fish for a 12 imo as well what are your water parameters looking like?

| Is there sunlight on the tank? That happened to me once, the tank became cloudy as soon as the sun hit.
