" I really wish I didn't buy those two oscars for my 20 gallon. One picked on the other so it got moved to a 10 gallon to get medicated. Maybe I can sell then with an ad in the newspaper.."

Thumbs up

I'm just cracking up at your stories!

I actually worked at a small Petco 7 years ago, and was thinking about going back part time. I'm thinking twice about that, now.

Great job with re-edumacating people, tho!

"I wanna get two red-tailed sharks to replace the one that died after a day in my 20 gallon High tank. Than maybe add an oscar or a few bala sharks. We plain on getting a bigger tank soon so it's okay to get the big fish now and stress them out in the small tank for the time being while we scrounge together a couple hundred dollars over the next few months to set up a 100+ tank" I might of exaggerated there a bit.

"I wanna pick up a 10 gallon tank and buy one of these chocolate chip starfish today... what else will I need"....about 3-6 months.

Catching a 10 inch panther grouper out of 90 gallon tank full of live rock was not fun yesterday. Also I don't know if I'm gonna get any more tarantulas for people. That one scared the hell out of me.

Saw an employee in your chain bag a 3" Oscar with 10 neons, at the customer's insistance ("to save on bags") even though she intended for the fish to go to two seperate tanks at her house. Was the oscar and 7 neons by the time she got done picking out dog food.........

Ha! I almost NEVER go into Petco but I have bought 1 Firebellied Newt[who did quite well!] but the only FISH I've bought are 2 bettas & 2 ADF's...after that it's only plants...I think the Emploees there are nice...but basically clueless..when I say I want a plant, I just point to it or a fish, I point to it and say a number...lol.

Of course, I should shut up having about 20 community fish[small ones] in my 10 after something weird happened to my 29...atleast I actually TRY for my fish!
