I think it is a hermit crab attempting to escape...not sure though...

SW I take it? Those things look pretty cool. I always thought the hermit crabs were small little things, not large like that one.

If it escapes, where does it think it's going to go? lol Great action shot though.

Hermit crabs come in a lot of different shapes and sizes in SW...some as big as your hand and some which are very tiny.

Yes that is a hermit crab. We have a local zoo that has a touch tank. That is one of the tanks bigger inhabitants. I thought is was a cool picture. FYI: I have no clue who's hand that is. They have school day trips all the time.

hah, that is still awesome steve.

Last time I was at a place with a touch tank I got yelled at for trying to grab a small shark. Dunno what the big deal was, it shouldn't have been where I could reach it
