Default Its time. College Football 2008 Season

YES! 1 day to go until the college season kicks off! I am pumped. Anyone else like me? ESPN.com put it perfectly in words today. "Grab your TV remote and hug your spouse and children goodbye."

My Clemson team is LOADED. Lookout, Clemson is a surprise National Championship team. Clemson wins the ACC this year, and goes to a BCS bowl if not the championship....mark it down! I'll be in Atlanta this weekend watching them beat Bama in the dome! Clemson has the best, most well rounded, most dangerous offense in the country this year hands down! Show me another close to it and i'll argue my eyes out.

This season starts with a huge BANG. So many good games. I'm looking forward to seeing Appalachian State pull off another shocker and beat LSU.

Anyone else hyped up yet?

Haha, i didn't say it would happen....just hoping it would. But Michigan thought they were invincible in the big house too....though i'd argue Tiger Stadium is 10 times better then any Big 10 stadium, so it will be tougher for AppSt this year. No Big 10, Big 12, or Pac 10 school can match the gameday atmospheres at southern schools (SEC and ACC). Hey it could happen...

Just a few notes from my mind, its what i think will happen...or what to look for:

-UGA Won't go undefeated but will probably be able to stay at #1 or #2 because of their schedule.
-Clemson will win the ACC
-Tim Tebow will NOT repeat at Heisman
-2 big upsets could happen first week. (App St over LSU and Virginia over USC) watch for it.

If I had to pick one of these predictions, I would pray, pray, pray for the one I have bolded to come true!!! Living among Trojans fans may be the worst thing about living in southern California (which isn't the worst thing one can say about a place).

I agree lol. Virginia isn't anything special but don't count them out. They could do it.

BTW, ESPN 2 has 4 hours of College Football coverage on right now (for me east time...idk for everyone else?).

College football couldn't come soon enough! My Texas Tech Red Raiders will dominate the Big 12 South this season, and hopefully will have Missouri's card in the Big 12 Championship! We lose only 1 offensive starter, and 3 defensive starters. All holes have easily been filled with better talent, and we finally have a depth chart. During the offseason, the much improved defense has been beating down the most prolific offense in all of college football!

Interesting notes:

- Crabtree worked out with NFL stars Deion Sanders, Terrell Owens, Devin Hester, and Pacman Jones over the summer.
- TTU has one of, if not the largest O-Line in college football (avg 336 lbs). Among them, Rylan Reed set a new school bench press record of 625 lbs, smashing his previous record of 565 lbs.
- TTU has gained 2 more potent running backs and 3 highly rated defensive players--all experienced. Could a running game be in the cards?

I love college football! Best of luck to your team C-man, Clemson is my favorite team east of the Mississippi. We might just see you in a BCS game; it's very possible!

/me taps finger impatiently in anticipation of Saturday
