| People Search Lately I have been trying to search for my husband's birth father on the internet. It seems like I can't find anything! I am desperate to find this man so that my husband can get in touch with him. Supposedly his father doesn't even know he exists (or refused to believe my mother-in-law).. Do any of you guys know of good websites or even real life places I can go to find him? I think its amazing when people are bought back together after several years. |

| At a quess I would say that if you can't track him down with the many available people searches on the net, then you probably need to hire a PI. |

| How much info do you have on him, Full name, a known address past or present, schools attended, etc will help but as Pure said if you have paid for and exhausted all the people searches online then you only real option would be a PI.
out of curiosity your post says how you want to find him..does your husband want to find him as well?

| Well a simple solution would be "if" you have a friend that works for a collection agancy, ask them to run their info. They have the same software the PIs use to pull information. You can't hide from your credit report. But then again I don't condone illigal actions *wink* |

If you know some basic info it's usually easy to track folks down. If you know that they own land (and where) you can usually get address through the county clerk. I used to have a subcription to PublicData.com and could get info about anyone that I wanted to...criminal history, driver's liscense, etc. I have found lots of info on people just by being patient. I think it took nearly 5 years to find one friend who had moved half way across the country.
You can even use some free services like Classmates.com. Get an idea of when the guy graduated and from what school. There's usually a place to post bulletins; post a question and maybe an old high school buddy subscribes.

| My husband is wanting to find him. He kind of knows his location, but it seems like the guy keeps moving around. We gathered enough info to know that he has a brother with the same name as him who had a twin brother that died. My mother-in-law has tried contacting the man's mother back when she was pregnant, but she won't talk.. This next month we are going through Alamosa Colorado, where my hubby's father is from and may be there again (I have a sneaking suspicion that his brother is still there just from looking at his public records online). I hope to find this father and brother before they die- it'd be nice anyway. Thanks for the idea of using classmates.com, I hadn't thought of that one. I don't know what high school he went to (I could probably find out by asking MIL).. But I do know what college he went to/worked at... Its fun being snoopy anyhow!
HAHA.... Bought.. I should've said brought.. Oops! |
