|  Excuse me, your nerd is showing. I know. So video games never cease to amaze me. They just get better and better. Since May i've been playing an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)...much like World of Warcraft, called Age of Conan. Its amazing. The level of detail in the characters and world is pretty stunning. Its like nothing i've seen in a game this far. Anyone else play this game? I'm guessing not. Heres a couple videos just to show some details. Definitely watch in High Quality (Right under the video). The shadows are pretty amazing. If your looking for heads being chopped off (which actually happens in this game) or blood spilling out (also happens) then these videos arn't for you....still working on the combat video. | LOL she's worse then me i promise. Age of Conan is LARGELY PvP based. I guess like Guild Wars on crack. Its very well done for a brand new game. Updates every week. Lots of good world PvP, and its far from gear based. You have active blocking that you control as well as different swings for you to swing where your opponant is weakest. No auto attack.

| LOL I do! I don't play the game 24/7 like Katie and wow. I havn't played in about 2 weeks. Its just something to pass time when i'm bored.

| That game looks like a lot of fun and the graphics look really good. I wonder how it stacks up to WoW. I played Everquest in the 90's and WoW seemed like a pretty good upgrade to that. Everquest had a lot of fatal flaws ( lagging servers, loading times between zones, bugs galore), and WoW has a few of its own ( especially if you're not into PVP), so I wonder what Age of Conan's problems are, if any. Embrace your inner nerd, lol. p.s. I'm married, so do I still need a girlfriend? |
