|  Mealworm Shortage? Does anyone else here keep pets that eat mealworms? Have you heard anything about a temporary nation-wide shortage/outage of them? A couple nights ago I went to my LPS to stock up on them and they said that they only had limited amounts due to an problem nationwide...something about their feed being tainted with an insecticide and all supplies were affected for a few months until all the generations reproduce. I bought a 100 superworms (all they had left!) and fear the day coming up in a couple weeks when my supply runs out and my voracious leopard geckos have to settle for crickets for their mainstay....they aren't all that crazy about crickets. I might be pulling back a bloody stump when I offer them a tong of crickets! Ha ha.

| lol well good luck with that Kelly! haha I haven't heard much but I don't have anything to do with mealworms either so...
