I doubt anyone has ever seen or heard of this, I bought a "High Rise" about 10 years ago. It is huge piece of clear plastic about 3 inches in diameter.
It was made for a 10 gallon tank. The plastic tube is a huge ½ of a 0 , which fits into it own little hood, which replaces the flap on a hood.
I rigged it with a piece of stainless for my 30 gallon, and 55 gallon back then.
It was pretty neat to see the fish swim up there(mostly live bearer fish..and especially bettas and such). I would put a mirroe at the top, and the betta would go up, get mad and come back into the tank. I even had a cory sit up there...and a pleco!!
The two ends of the tubes are about 2 to 3 inches in the water.
I was thinking of selling it....and have to get a pic of it on my 10.
It comes with the hood, the "high rise" plastic piece, and a long bendabletube that you suck the air out, to make the water go in it.
Didn't know if anyone heard of it or what your opinions were.
I will put it on the clasifieds when I have everything I need(cost, pic) for it.
I dont even remeber what I paid back then for it..probebly $30, but I wont charge that of course.
